fuzzy snuggles

she woke me up this morning because she wanted to snuggle on my face. she was walking all over me & laying on my face so i had to give in and snuggle for a little bit. she is getting used to car rides. this morning we drove to Java Jo's to get the best ever 1shot Ivory Mocha, and anouk was riding on my lap (other times she burrows under my seats) but she really wanted to say hello to everyone today so she poked her head our of my sweater to say hello to the girl at the window & the girl melted when she saw anouk -how could you not?- and i explained to the girl that anouk travels everywhere with me & she thought it was the cutest thing. i don't like leaving anouk alone, because i'm afraid shes too small to be left alone & i'm nervous i'm going to come home to her being stuck someplace.

she likes me a lot. she also likes to stare at herself in the mirror. she is so small...

it was a really nice time. wilderness. me & stephanie ate our weights worth in smores. i was managing the campfire the whole time because it kept dying so i'd run off and find things to put in it. it was my job the whole time. i was walking around searching for things in the dark.

our friend naomi was killed yesterday.
i haven't cried this much in so long. i miss her so much.
she was the best room mate i ever had.

funk smell in my apartment

its coming from outside. it smells like scrambled eggs drowned in cheap restaurant syrup. or something along the lines. can this make sense to anyone? i really hope at least one can relate.

i got some new things.

a toaster, a blender, a waffle iron, two side tables, a matching coffee table & ... a dining room table. its so great, its white & fits perfectly in my dining room. pretty much the whole time i was out there i didn't load any of the things into my car, which made me feel like a slacker. but the only reason i didn't load things is because i was holding landon the whole time. & there was no way i was putting him down or giving him to anyone else to hold... he is my small soft round squishy friend. i like him a lot. he was sucking on my shoulder a lot & i was making him smile & giggle quite a bit.

so here i am, in california again. its been weird so far... it feels like i never left, except all my stuff is gone. i'm in Huntington Beach right now. me tiffany & jackie are at the house resting before going to taylers birthday party at the Grove @ 6:30. it should be fun. today we woke around 10:30, showered, ate & walked down to mainstreet. then to the beach for the farmers market. i got kenzie 3 rings & i bought myself 2 rings. we are going to lay at the beach all day tomorrow. it'll be so great. & sunday we are going to Venice beach & getting henna with tayler & clay. i'm tired.
