my new lamp shade:

this is the lamp shade that i made. bought the lampshade new. then ... customized. with cords, lace bits and fringe. with my handy dandy... hot-glue-gun. the hot-glue-gun is my FAVORITE toy in the world. officially. i was looking all over my room and then all over the house for more things to use the hot-glue-gun on. i found nothing.

plus, randomly and surprisingly my mom just happened to have drawers full of different cords, lace, fringe etc so i didn't have to go pick anything out at a store. i just got to dig through what we already had. how random. my family is so conveniently random. that's an oxymoron if i ever heard

tree planting

today i planted 75 trees with my dad in my backyard.

i also framed a lot of photos to hang in our stairway. we already have a ton. this will hopefully complete the empty spaces. we'll see. its a work in progress. i also want to get photo albums and put photos in those. so we can reminisce whenever we want. one of my very favorite things to do.


so my trip to utah -- 19-22 or 23rd -- mark that on your calendars. its either that or 26-29/30. we'll see. I must see natsWorth for sherganoff & do a specialty stop at beehive or carluccis.

mmm dang that truffle was delish. can't wait for the next one.

i made that necklace. i wish i had the $ to make as many as i wanted. but dang that beadstore is eXpennnsive. i spent a long time in there and came out with only those supplies plus two other small things. so hard. being creative is expensive. its the truth.

tomorrow my mother comes home. i can not wait. i want to go buy paints so bad & go to trader joes for some mochi ice cream and pretty much everything else in that store. who else loves trader joes as much as i do? it SUCKED living in utah with out it. it has a couple cool things but nothing comparable to california. i do miss it sometimes tho. the canyons ,my few friends i had there. the grid system. oh man. the grid system. bummer. i took a way long nap today so now i'm doomed to stay awake most of the night. i need a sleeping pill. i don't want to be sick. anyone know any remedies to keep me from getting sick? i'll consult my herb book. its my bible.

falling down the rabbit hole

my dream last night. -- i went down a rabbit hole. but forgot to take my diamonds off. so when i came back out they were gone. that's the rule of the rabbit hole. take your diamonds off or they'll be gone!

subconcious meanderings

i wish i had a way to make words sound nice. and come up with creative things to say. but i dont have a way. and i can't come up with creative things to say. -or do.
