i'm bad at blogging.

not much to say it seems.. i don't know whats significant enough to write. i've been in utah for almost 2 weeks. just got back to california. having two homes is rough. i love utah & california so much. so different from each other. i need more friends in utah tho. because i have so many friends in california and i love having friends over and meeting up with them etc. i need that in utah too. i'm tired .

i'm craving salmon . & i want to go kayaking .

OH !! hey .... went on a hot air balloon ride this weekend! it was incredible ! i loved it sooooo much , it was beautiful. we took some photos , as best we could. but i was so happy to do this! everyone knows its been one of my dreams to do it. it was everything i expected. peaceful, beautiful, thrilling, FUN, & lovely.

i'm going to try to eat LAMB tonight... my least favorite meat. today i have been organizing all my stuff i brought back and downsizing and stuff. its a process. and ive also been helping my mom clean up her house. its a daunting task ... but this week i hope i'll be able to get a couple jobs & make a little bit of money & see some more friends. then on the 14th (if my car permits) i will travel back to utah and get my job & start really heavily on my school work.

i really like my kitten Roux . she is my best friend. she makes me really happy because shes so funny and weird. and small & way soft. god i am a way crazy cat lady. i am the first to admit that.

my car overheated on the freeway. had to pull over and call AAA. then jackie called me and i had her come get me to take me to folsom to get my new computer. (i was on my way there when my car over heated) then i took her to dinner as a thank-you. but i'm really sad about my car. i hope it can be fixed because i have to go back to utah on the 14th. ah. bad timing for my car to FAIL me again. poor thing. mitch is cute tho, hes been lookin on KSL for new audis for me to replace my subaru with. but im not ready to part with my old beast of a subaru. i hope it has another year or two left in it. cross your fingers for me.

so hey, help a girl out will ya? i need to sell my custom earrings cause i need the $$ since my poor car is falling part. so would you be a dear and purchase a pair and perhaps even spread the word for me ? oh thanks!

anyway . today i felt like a carpenter. i had to measure the inside cupboard dimensions of the kitchen sink for linoleum. i felt neat. measuring and writing the measurements and then cutting it and placing it. i felt pretty useful. i could never be a carpenter tho. you'd acquire some pretty bad knee problems.

tomorrow jackie & i might go wine tasting. i think i'd like to try white wines tho. i drink too much red and its all starting to taste the same. tonight i asked jackie "do you remember that time we all went wine tasting for your birthday?" and she went "yeah!" and i said "I don't" haha. yeah for real, i really barely remember it at all tho. so much wine and so many wineries. ridiculous. but a lot of fun, from those vague details i can recall... do they have wineries in Utah?

obviously i'm only writing a blog because i'm on my newly purchased macbook. so it's a lot of fun being on my very first computer that i bought for myself. sorry if this is way boring. mitch & i are way nerds tho. we have 3 computers, an ipad, an iphone & an ipod. we are a mac family. we just keep gettin more too.. ha i love him. i miss him a lot.

i really hope i get the job as a stock brokers assistant. i've already gone out and found some really dressy work clothes. and i'm writing up my new resume and cover letter. im gonna get this thing! send your good vibes my way ! im feelin good about it.

last night we had a craazzzzyyy wind & rain storm. i thought the house was going to blow away. the rain was pelting the house so hard & the wind was sending ripples and waves across the pavement. so this morning upon waking .. we look outside and there is snow on the mountains... oh boy... freezing. i need more clothes for this kind of weather. brrrr.

so today . meeting Mitch at 11 in Salt Lake for lunch.

then we are going shopping for wedding attire... we are attending 3 weddings together this month. & Mitch is shooting a wedding in Toronto in about 2 weeks. august is jam-packed with weddings... sheesh. we realized we have nothing suitable for attending a wedding. hopefully we can fix that today.. wish us luck. I really don't like shopping much. I like online shopping. cause its easy.

i've been learning new tricks on my hula hoop lately. it is so fun. I want to be way good at it sometime soon.

super slacking

i've been such a slacker here in the blog world! sorry!
not like anyone reads my junk anyway. but still.
sooo not much is new....

just packing my bags for a trip to UTAH!

then when i get back from utah next monday i have a busy rest of the month... mayas 21st bday is on friday at her & gabes house , its gonna be so fun. then i have a wedding to shoot on saturday. thennnn on the 25th i have my surgery.

i'm stoked for another year in Tahoe for the 4th of July. last years 4th was super hilarious and crazy ... brooke & i went to tahoe to her friends house on the lake and it was just some wild weird party and we walked out into the lake to watch fireworks. i love & miss my brooke! ah! '
then on july 5th... BRENT COMES HOME! i havent seen him for a year .. i miss the guts out of him.

tomorrow i am going to the lagoon (2nd picture down below) for a swim & tan sesh with audra. jackie would come... but she missed her flight back from florida. haha. i miss jackie. i miss all my friends.

its been such a lovely couple of days. warm enough to wear shorts and a tanktop & sandals... my most favorite attire. (after bathing suits or clad) i love to feel as much air and warmth on as much of my skin as possible. thats why im a summer girl. a beach bum... a river rat... whatever you can come up with. the sun recharges my spirits and lifts my soul. i cant wait until it really starts to heat up around here...
i head to utah in exactly ONE week. holy yes !! i am so excited. i hope i'm ready and i dont forget anything. i hate forgetting stuff.
i could really go for a tube top or a strapless dress right about now.

i think i might switch back to using shampoo & conditioner... because my hair seems to be having a hard time. its so thin and long that it just gets tangled SO easy. i sort of look like a bum ... haha. maybe i'll do every other day or something.

monday night felt like saturday night

went out last night with audra& vanessa. got a realllllly yummy beer. Grimbergen . twas great and i wanted another one. they served it to me in a wine glass tho... kinda bugged me. but Mitch said that's what they do sometimes? i felt like i got less than what i paid for haha.

buuuuut then we went to BJs brewery and got drinks and dessert there... i got two absolutely amazing Pina Chocoladas .... holy crap. i wanted to get maybe 5 . but only got 2. because they are damn expensive. we had fun tho. but now im all thrown off cause i feel like its sunday.
but its Tuesday.
and i have to work both of my jobs today.
and then tomorrow morning my plane for Virginia leaves at 6:30/ ahh! won't be back til Sunday. then i'll have a week & a couple days before i leave for Utah... damn

last night i stopped by Jackies 80's party.... saw some good fun people. wish i could have stayed the whole time but i was damn tired from working all day and my feet were killin me. i got some funny pictures there anyways tho. super classy ...... red plastic cups with red champagne in them. we made a toast to "being classy". i was dancing the whole time to mJ & pat benatar etc. it was good. i had a scrunchie in my hair. it'll be interesting to see these pictures. oh lordy.


today im going to a car show on main street with Audra & Vanessa. i wanted to go to the river again but i probably wont because today is my sisters 17th birthday ---- weird!!! she's 17?? when the heck did this happen. shes the coolest sister ever, no one else has a cooler sister than i do. hands down no battle. you may think you have a cool sister... but thats just because you havent met mine.
she's a lot like me , but looks completely different than me. shes pretty hilarious too.

HOLI FESTIVAL !

so i went to utah for 3 days to attend the holi festival on saturday. it was FANTASTIC. you guys. i have to go next year too. it was great. i had a nice time in utah. nicole & i just hung out and were lazy most of the time. i hung out with sam and had really intense talks which was well needed. tough times i tell ya...
