seriously one of the funniest things ever and i can't stop watching it because it cracks me up so much. everything is so perfect. hahaha! i love when shes shoving the food in her mouth. this baby does it perfect its great

and yesterday we celebrated mitch's 30th birthday. it was fun. here is the cake that was made for him: his brother adam, did the darth vadar & chewbacca part... hahaha. & payton put the numbers on... makes mitch look younger. ha!

i was supposed to drive home to california today but last night i was really really sick and i barely got any sleep, so i'm leaving wednesday instead. i couldn't imagine driving 10 hours while being super tired and sick. yuck. so i'm just resting and doing last minute errands in the mean time.. so fun..

pies & packing

i hate packing.

i love cooking.

so i decided to mix the two today

so that i wouldn't be so annoyed at whats going on.

i think thats fair right?

so i made mini-pies for mitch's early birthday present

& bacon tomato avocado & pasta for his dinner.

- apple, blueberry, cherry -

i even put an egg glaze on the top so they are shiny & perfect.

but i'm still really irritated about packing.

there is so much stuff i have to pack.

and i feel sickness coming on. in my throat.

my throat doesn't hurt but it feels different when i swallow

& its had this strange taste in my mouth that wont leave all morning & day.

i feel fuzzy too. i need a hot bath again.

i also don't like my built-in retainer.

i want it removed. decided.

i'm kind of sick of red wine. i think i will switch to white wine for a while.

REAL salt lake

went to the game last night. for kiras birthday.

it was way way way fun. i really like going to sporting events.

because of the energy and the cheering and the excitement.

too bad this was their last home game.

i want to get a jersey for sure.

a white one , & then i want to get all the players signatures on it.

next season i'm going to go keep up on the games.

some of our friends took other pictures.

but we only have one so far

its funny. mitch is the only one not laughing. the rest of us are laughing really hard.. not peno, he looks like hes falling asleep or something. & my hat makes me look like Toadstool . fun times! loved it

can't wait to see more. silly.

happy birthday to me !

so yesterday was my 22nd birthday - it was great.

mitchell got me a pair of g-star jeans that make my butt look amazing. and he also got us a macbook pro that arrived right on time. we went out for sushi with a couple friends and it was sooo fun i loved it. took sake shots with everyone - sake is so strange. and kate got me a bottle of wine that was really yummy. and nique made me mini cupcakes & then a giant one just for me.... loved it. i really liked my birthday this year. thanks everyone!

and also, mother nature gave me the gift of rain & cold air.... my birthday was the first real day of fall it seems. its so grey outside ..... i love it. i just wish there was rain & lightening and thunder and all that jazz. it'll come soon i guess.

yesterday in the car we spotted a rainbow. i love rainbows.

autumn

l'automne est dans l'air.

its true. autumn is in the air. its "brisk" at night (as mitch puts it) & crisp in the mornings. and actually the whole today today is really cool and breezy. its nice. it just feels so fresh. i want to make sour cream apple bars but i'm going to wait for a special sort of occasion to make them instead of just randomly.

i wanted to go on a sweet little romantic hot air balloon ride just me & mitch but its freaking costs an arm & a leg for just one person to ride for an hour... totally sucks. oh well. maybe one day.

whenever fall comes around i like having little fall accents around the house because it makes me feel cozy & reminds me that its time for :

- warm food

- sweaters

- cuddles under blankets

- trips up to the canyons to see the fall colors

- beanies

- boots

- seeing your breath when you walk outside

- the heater & the fireplace

- yummy treats likes apple pie

- puzzles

- socks

- family

- soooup! chilli. minestrone stew.

- snuggles.

all the good stuff.

oh pumpkin carving. duh.

oh i was telling mitch how i'd love to grow pumpkins.. maybe one day.

mayas 21st birthday!

on friday we celebrated mayas 21st birthday by having all day/night pool party ! drinks and food. live music, old friends, fun memories. love the summer time , and lovin the good kick backs we have in this town.

went to the river on Friday... it was so nice. hot sun on my skin. cold river in my hair.

hangin with friends , laughin at funny stuff. finding lizards. searching for that one spot thats perfect to sit by the river. adventures....... summer is so close.

i cant wait for it be here. it means summer love. forever love is what i'm hoping for tho. but it also means warm skin. good times with good friends. long days and nights. smoothies &milkshakes and popsicles .
good beats and grooves to move to . i just cant wait.
it means vacations & get aways. i cant wait for my get away in June..... mmmmmmmmmm.

i just miss it.


last night i stopped by Jackies 80's party.... saw some good fun people. wish i could have stayed the whole time but i was damn tired from working all day and my feet were killin me. i got some funny pictures there anyways tho. super classy ...... red plastic cups with red champagne in them. we made a toast to "being classy". i was dancing the whole time to mJ & pat benatar etc. it was good. i had a scrunchie in my hair. it'll be interesting to see these pictures. oh lordy.


today im going to a car show on main street with Audra & Vanessa. i wanted to go to the river again but i probably wont because today is my sisters 17th birthday ---- weird!!! she's 17?? when the heck did this happen. shes the coolest sister ever, no one else has a cooler sister than i do. hands down no battle. you may think you have a cool sister... but thats just because you havent met mine.
she's a lot like me , but looks completely different than me. shes pretty hilarious too.

YES!! nikon d300s & a drawing !

so, tomorrow is my birthday and you all know i had some trouble getting my nikon d300s the past couple of days.. well.. read on ---

today after working at a wedding all day we arrive back at my boss Lisa's house and SURPRISE! her two wonderful sweet daughters surprise me in the living room and her awesome go-to-all-lengths hilarious husband comes down the hall with a cake lit with candles on it! so cute i wasn't expecting it at all and i was so happy i couldn't stop smiling. to make my smile even bigger .. out comes a pleasantly wrapped box with wrapping paper colored & made by Jaz & Ember .. and inside is a NIKON D300S!!!!!!!! HOLY GEEZE. yeah my smile is permanent. i can't wipe it from my face. i am just so happy and thankful i have such great amazing thoughtful people in my life. its not even my 21st birthday and i'm already so happy.
