so i think i'll practice the 10 things i liked today post. since i need to remember positives instead of negatives lately.

my car overheated on the freeway. had to pull over and call AAA. then jackie called me and i had her come get me to take me to folsom to get my new computer. (i was on my way there when my car over heated) then i took her to dinner as a thank-you. but i'm really sad about my car. i hope it can be fixed because i have to go back to utah on the 14th. ah. bad timing for my car to FAIL me again. poor thing. mitch is cute tho, hes been lookin on KSL for new audis for me to replace my subaru with. but im not ready to part with my old beast of a subaru. i hope it has another year or two left in it. cross your fingers for me.

so hey, help a girl out will ya? i need to sell my custom earrings cause i need the $$ since my poor car is falling part. so would you be a dear and purchase a pair and perhaps even spread the word for me ? oh thanks!

anyway . today i felt like a carpenter. i had to measure the inside cupboard dimensions of the kitchen sink for linoleum. i felt neat. measuring and writing the measurements and then cutting it and placing it. i felt pretty useful. i could never be a carpenter tho. you'd acquire some pretty bad knee problems.

tomorrow jackie & i might go wine tasting. i think i'd like to try white wines tho. i drink too much red and its all starting to taste the same. tonight i asked jackie "do you remember that time we all went wine tasting for your birthday?" and she went "yeah!" and i said "I don't" haha. yeah for real, i really barely remember it at all tho. so much wine and so many wineries. ridiculous. but a lot of fun, from those vague details i can recall... do they have wineries in Utah?

obviously i'm only writing a blog because i'm on my newly purchased macbook. so it's a lot of fun being on my very first computer that i bought for myself. sorry if this is way boring. mitch & i are way nerds tho. we have 3 computers, an ipad, an iphone & an ipod. we are a mac family. we just keep gettin more too.. ha i love him. i miss him a lot.

i really hope i get the job as a stock brokers assistant. i've already gone out and found some really dressy work clothes. and i'm writing up my new resume and cover letter. im gonna get this thing! send your good vibes my way ! im feelin good about it.

so here i am back in good ol' utah ! its nice to be back in my own house with my own stuff. and my baby kitty Roux was soooo happy too see me. she wouldn't stop purring & following me around. oh how i love her so... and mitch & i have been laughin and havin fun and bein silly. he sure did miss me. don't deny it !

so i touched down in sunny california last saturday . it was about 60 degrees. and it was confusing because.. its january. blue clear skies and rays of sunshine? the family working in the garden? people in shorts? flip flops? t-shirts? where are the boots, jackets and jeans? yeah california is WEIRD!

i just miss mitch & payton. in the spring i want to bring them here. they'd love love love it. its so free and open here . hills and forests. secret areas and good eats. its just nice. i need to discover utah more and uncover the cool parts and the good eats and the free areas. i just get so lost there still... haha .

so ive just been takin it easy while bein here. nothing fancy. just catching up on my sleep, saw a couple good pals. loungin around this house. and snuggling my cat anouk .. who loves me still so much. we love each other. anouk sel dean. shes chasing a ping pong ball right now and i just took a picture of her 'stalking it' .. check it out :

i havent taken any pictures really since ive been here. i took some pictures of the cats. cause im a cat lady. today im hanging out with audra and jackie and we are gonna take pictures then. it'll be fun. i think we are going to coloma to explore.

not gonna lie.. i can't wait to back to utah to my little family and sleep in my own bed and hug my mitch. even tho utah isnt so pretty right now its still gonna be soo good to be back. well. see ya/.

mayas 21st birthday!

on friday we celebrated mayas 21st birthday by having all day/night pool party ! drinks and food. live music, old friends, fun memories. love the summer time , and lovin the good kick backs we have in this town.

super slacking

i've been such a slacker here in the blog world! sorry!
not like anyone reads my junk anyway. but still.
sooo not much is new....

just packing my bags for a trip to UTAH!

then when i get back from utah next monday i have a busy rest of the month... mayas 21st bday is on friday at her & gabes house , its gonna be so fun. then i have a wedding to shoot on saturday. thennnn on the 25th i have my surgery.

i'm stoked for another year in Tahoe for the 4th of July. last years 4th was super hilarious and crazy ... brooke & i went to tahoe to her friends house on the lake and it was just some wild weird party and we walked out into the lake to watch fireworks. i love & miss my brooke! ah! '
then on july 5th... BRENT COMES HOME! i havent seen him for a year .. i miss the guts out of him.

tomorrow i am going to the lagoon (2nd picture down below) for a swim & tan sesh with audra. jackie would come... but she missed her flight back from florida. haha. i miss jackie. i miss all my friends.

today i spent the afternoon with 2 of my good friends jackie & audra. it is mid march, 70 degrees. we were tanning and relaxing on the american river. this is california. it was a nice day. i skipped some rocks. its a hard thing to do & to learn but i did a couple. jackie taught us to hula-hoop and i am going to continue my practicing and learn some cool things. i told my paps about the speeding ticket i got . but first i called my neighbor , who lucky for me is a retired sheriff. i asked him a couple questions about the ticket and whatnot. he is great. so i had some info to tell my dad to put him at ease. PHEW. he was upset but not as mad as i thought. stress is off my shoulders. goodness.

oh my, did i tell you all that i am going to the Holi festival in utah march 27th/? its true. i am so so so excited and i am so happy to be going this year. i can not wait to take photos and celebrate this. i can't stop smiling and wiggling around with excitement. some links:
